On the Capacity Analysis of Cellular CDMA Systems -- Alok Aggarwal, Rajendra Prasad, Mohan Lal and Sunita Devi

This paper presents the capacity analysis of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) systems. The study incorporates soft handoff, with power control and without power control, voice activity factor, interference factor, and macro-diversity factor. The result includes the system capacity in users per cell overhead due to soft handoff and power control effects.

In a large and complex Component-Based System (CBS), the development cost is much lower than its maintenance cost, which is a major concern.
